Thank you very much for choosing our accommodation among many options.
Surrounded by mountains and forests, our house offers a peaceful environment where you can relax and enjoy your stay.

We prepare with care so that every guest feels comfortable and safe.

③ Check-in / Check-out

Check-in: From 15:00
• Self check-in only. No staff will be on-site.
⚠️ Please do not arrive before 15:00, as cleaning staff will still be working. Entry before 15:00 is not permitted.
• The entrance key number will be provided in your booking message.
⚠️ Please note: the entrance key code is different from the reservation page code.
• If the smart key does not work, a spare physical key is placed inside the black mailbox next to the entrance.
👉 Please return it to the mailbox at check-out. (A replacement fee will be charged if lost.)

Check-out: By 10:00
• Please strictly follow the check-out time, as cleaning staff will enter right after.

• Use the provided Google Maps URL for navigation. Searching by address or house name may not display correctly.

Notes
• Wi-Fi is available indoors only. Connection at the entrance may be unstable due to weather or wind.
• Heavy downloads or video streaming may slow down the connection.
• If you cannot connect, unplug the router, wait 10 seconds, and reconnect the power.

⑤ Meals & Dining

🛒 Shopping
• There are no large supermarkets nearby. (The closest 7-Eleven is about 7 minutes by car.)
• Please purchase food and necessities in town before coming, as items not sold at 7-Eleven will not be available nearby.

🍳 Self-catering (Room only plan)
• Basic cooking utensils and condiments are provided free of charge.
• Items not available must be prepared by yourself.
• We do not provide shopping services. Supplies (especially condiments) will not be replenished during your stay.
• Bringing your own food is allowed.
• Please wash and return all cooking utensils after use.
• If you damage any equipment, please report it. Unreported damage may result in compensation claims via insurance.

🍽 Meal plan (with ingredients)
• Raw ingredients will be provided:
• Summer: BBQ set
• Winter: Hotpot set
• Cooking is the guest’s responsibility.
• No allergy-friendly meals or ingredient substitutions are available. Even if allergy notes are entered on booking sites, please avoid the ingredients yourself.
• Requests such as “more vegetables,” “no meat,” “fish only,” etc. cannot be accepted.

Breakfast set
• Breakfast is provided in a box inside the refrigerator.
• Heating or cooking is the guest’s responsibility.
• Ice and drinks are not included, please prepare them yourself.
• For guests with a meal plan, cleaning of used utensils and dishes is not required.

🔥 BBQ Option (Rental equipment only)
• Includes: BBQ grill, charcoal, fire starter, chairs, etc. (No food included)
• Fee: 7,000 yen per group (tax included). Payment by credit card on-site.
• Reservation must be made at least 2 days before check-in.
• You may also bring your own BBQ equipment.

Notes for BBQ
• We do not assist with fire starting. Please check how to do it in advance.
• In case of bad weather, you may use the indoor tabletop grill.

⑥ Appliances & Equipment

🌬 Air Conditioner (Heating/Cooling)
• Remote control is on the table.
• Summer: Cooling mode, 26–28°C.
• Winter: Heating mode, 20–22°C.
• Please turn off the unit when leaving the house or before sleeping.

🔥 Heaters (Winter)
• Kerosene and fan heaters available.
• Ventilate before use.
• Extra kerosene is stored under the indoor stairs. Please refill yourself if needed.
• Electric blankets are also provided.

💧 Dehumidifier
• Kirishima is a humid area. Please use it when humidity is high.
• It will stop automatically when the water tank is full.
• Please empty the water into the toilet or outdoor drain before restarting.

🍳 Kitchen Appliances
• Microwave: Set wattage and time. Do not use metal containers.
• Refrigerator: Free to use.
• Rice cooker: Add washed rice and water, then press “cook.”
• Electric kettle: Fill with water, press switch, it will auto stop when boiled.

📺 Smart TV
• Turn on with remote control.
• Select apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, etc.
• Please log in with your own account and log out before check-out.
• No terrestrial TV channels are available.

⑦ Bath & Water Facilities

🚿 Bathroom
• As the house is located in the mountains, water pressure is low and filling the bathtub takes time.
• In winter, set the water temperature higher. The large bathtub cools quickly.
• Do not leave hot water running continuously. Safety devices may stop the gas supply.

Gas stop
• If the gas company sends a warning, we will inform you.
• If no response, the gas may stop automatically.
• In case of stop, you must restart manually:
1. Find the gas water heater behind the bathroom (outdoor).
2. Press and hold the small black button.
3. Gas will restart.
• For assistance, contact the gas company: 0570-020-200 (Japanese only).

🚿 Shower
• Water pressure is weak due to mountain location.
• Adjust temperature with the remote control.
• After use, shake off water from the showerhead to prevent mold.

🚽 Toilet
• Flush toilet.
• Only toilet paper may be flushed.
• Please contact us immediately if clogged or leaking.

⚠️ Water precautions
• Do not leave towels or clothes in the bathtub or drains.
• Remove hair/trash before draining water.
• Turn off water taps before leaving the house or sleeping.
• Winter (Dec–Mar): Keep a small flow of water running to prevent freezing.

⑧ Garbage Separation & Disposal

🗑 Separation rules (local requirement)
1. Burnable waste (food, paper, packaging, cardboard, newspapers)
2. Non-burnable waste (glass, metals, ceramics)
3. Recyclables (cans, bottles only)

♻️ How to sort
• Empty and rinse cans/bottles.
• Cardboard and newspapers = burnable waste.

🚮 Disposal
• Use the indoor bins for sorting.
• If full, place waste in the outdoor black garbage bin.
• For long stays, please use the outdoor bin when indoor bins are full.
• No room cleaning during stay.
• Always close the lid tightly to prevent wild animals/cats from scattering garbage.

⚠️ Important
• Hazardous waste (spray cans, lighters, batteries) = non-burnable.
• Do not mix hazardous items into burnable waste.
• Large waste cannot be collected. Please take it with you.

⑨ Parking

🚗 Capacity
• Up to 2 cars can park (free).

🅿️ Location
• Spaces are next to the entrance. If 2 cars, park in tandem (one behind the other).
• Do not block other cars or the road.

⚠️ Notes
• Large cars may touch tree branches.
• We are not responsible for accidents, theft, or damage inside the parking area.
• Roads may be slippery in winter or rain.
• No engine idling or loud revving at night/early morning.

⑩ Smoking & Noise

🚭 Smoking
• No smoking inside (includes e-cigarettes & heated tobacco).
• Smoking only outdoors.
• An ashtray is provided on the terrace table.
• Do not smoke in undesignated areas or in nature (fire hazard).
• Dispose of cigarette butts only in ashtrays, fully extinguished.

🔊 Noise
• Quiet hours: 22:00 – 07:00.
• The area is a quiet residential & natural environment. No loud voices or music outside.
• Keep indoor TV/music volumes low.
• Violations may result in termination of stay.

2. Restricted areas
• Pets must stay in the designated pet area only.
• No pets allowed in 2nd floor, kitchen, or living room.
• Dogs must stay in the dog cage; cats in the cat cage.
3. Items provided by facility (limited supply, not refilled during stay)

• Pets must wear diapers or belly bands indoors.
• Report any accidents. Cleaning/repair costs may be charged.

• Please control barking or noise at night.
• Damage or stains caused by pets will be charged at cost.
• Proof of vaccinations (rabies & mixed vaccine) must be shown at check-in.
Guests without proof cannot stay.

⑬ Lost & Found / Valuables / Disclaimer

🎒 Lost items
• Items found will be kept for 1 week.
• We will not notify guests due to privacy rules.
• After 1 week, items will be disposed.
• Perishable items will be discarded immediately.
• Return shipping is possible (cash-on-delivery, domestic only).

💎 Valuables
• Please manage cash, jewelry, passports, etc. yourself.
• No safe is provided in the house.

⚠️ Disclaimer
• We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, loss, or theft during your stay.
• No refunds for cancellations due to disasters (power outage, water outage) if the facility itself is not damaged.
• Exceptions: Evacuation orders or full suspension of public transport (refunds or date changes possible).
• Pet rules must be followed. Damages to property or equipment will be charged at cost.

⑭ Prohibited Acts

The following actions are strictly prohibited.
Violation may result in immediate eviction, additional charges, and/or compensation claims.
1. Smoking inside the house
• Smoking is not allowed anywhere indoors (including balcony/terrace, e-cigarettes, heated tobacco).
• Smoking is only permitted in the designated outdoor ashtray area.
2. Bringing more than 2 pets
• Unauthorized pets will incur additional fees.
3. Use of fire or hazardous items
• Fireworks, candles, bonfires, open flames are strictly prohibited.
• BBQ is allowed only in designated areas.
4. Unauthorized stay / Overcapacity
• Only registered guests are allowed to stay.
• Extra or unregistered guests are strictly prohibited.
• Overcapacity may result in extra charges and eviction.
5. Removing property/equipment
• Do not take out furniture, appliances, or other equipment from the house.
6. Noise disturbance
• Loud voices, music, or TV after 22:00 are prohibited.
7. Illegal acts
• Use of drugs or any illegal activity is prohibited.

⑮ Cleaning & Damages

🧹 Cleaning
• No daily cleaning service provided.
• Towels are prepared for the length of stay.
• Long-stay guests may request extra cleaning (5,000 yen per time, advance booking required).
• Cleaning schedule will be adjusted based on your presence.

⚠️ Damages
• Do not remove furniture, appliances, or equipment.
• Any damage or breakage must be reported and will be charged at cost.
• False reviews, misinformation on social media, or unreasonable demands/abusive behavior towards staff may be recorded and handled by legal representatives if necessary.

⑯ Check-out Procedure

⏰ Check-out time: By 11:00 AM

🗝 Keys
• If using smart key: simply exit, it will lock automatically.
• If using spare physical key: return it to the black mailbox by the entrance.

🗑 Garbage
• Please gather indoor garbage as much as possible.
• If you already used the outdoor bin during your stay, leave it as is.
• Clean pet cages: remove waste into garbage, wipe cage with wet tissues.

🐛 Insects
• Close all windows and doors before leaving.
• Insects may enter easily due to mountain location.
• Insect repellent items are available in the house.

🛋 Final check
• Check beds, bathroom, and fridge for belongings.
• Turn off all appliances (AC, lights, etc.).

📩 After check-out
• Cleaning staff will enter after you leave.
• Please send us a message if you have any feedback.

⑰ Facility Style & Services

chichinpuipuihouse is a private log house surrounded by nature.
It is not a city hotel or full-service accommodation.

We do not provide concierge services such as:
• Rental car/taxi reservations
• Restaurant bookings
• Travel plans or sightseeing arrangements
• Assistance for rental car troubles

Our support covers only:
• Facility-related issues
• Equipment malfunctions
• Safety during your stay

This house is designed for you to enjoy quiet time in the mountains at your own pace.
